Our rotary engraving machine has a very precise diamond tip, so detail is much finer than a stamp or a laser engraver, where fine details are lost.

1. Choose Your Font

• By default, we use a Block font that is very easy to read. Click through below to see the other fonts that we offer. (We will let you know if we don't think your choice will be readable with your text and tag selections.)

• During Checkout, there is a Special Instructions box (underneath shipping method selection) in which you should specify your engraving instructions and font choice. Or email our engraving department with instructions.

2. Images and Logos

• The other option is to email an image for engraving (which may use any fonts or designs that you wish).

• Add the $20.00 Logo Setup Fee for Engraving to your cart when you select your tags below. This is a required fee anytime that you do not use simple text with one of the fonts we offer above.

• Email any logos, your signature or other images, and we will match your email up with the order. A vector based file created in Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or Corel Draw 9, or a pdf, is ideal. Raster/bitmap file types like tif, jpg, gif or psd will also work. A Word document is not acceptable.

• We will let you know if your image is too complex for such a small space or if it requires adjustment.

• Only lines are engraved on the tags. Shapes are not filled in.

3. Tag Selection and Pricing

• Click on an image below to see pricing on specific tags with quantity discounts. All prices displayed include text engraving on one side of the tag. The Logo Setup Fee is a required fee anytime that you do not use simple text with one of the fonts we offer above. Just add the tags to your cart, checkout, and your engraved tags are on the way within a few days! (Make sure to use the Special Instructions box, located under shipping selections.)

• The minimum order is 50 tags, starting at just $50.00.

• If you would like engraving on both sides of your tags (a name and a logo, for example), then this can be done for an additional $0.30 per tag. (Add item CFENG-E in the appropriate quantity.)

• In a hurry? Add the $20.00 Rush Order Fee to your cart, and your jewelry tags will ship out to you the next business day after you place the order. (Normal processing time is 2 to 5 business days.)

4. More Information

• Our rotary engraving machine has a very precise diamond tip that removes material as it engraves. Text remains clear as it becomes smaller, so the number of letters that fit depend on the size of the tag and the font that you choose.

• Engraving orders are not refundable or exchangeable, so be sure that you are happy with the tag size and font that you select.

• Generally orders take two to five business days to process. A digital proof is not provided.

• If you are unsure about the right tag size for your needs, we suggest ordering a set of tag samples before placing an engraving order.

• Click on any of the tag photos to see measurements in inches.

• Tags do not come with jump rings. These are available in our Jewelry Components department.

• To make rotary engraving more prominent, some people use black jewelry paint on their tags when they receive them. One such product is called Black Antique Background (which may be purchased from a jewelry supply company like Thunderbird Jewelry Supply).
