Charm Factory will custom engrave a minimum of 50 metal jewelry tags with your name, a phrase, logo, signature or other image. It's a low cost way to add the personal touch to your creations or projects, with prices now as low as $50.00 per job. Many customers also use these to mark jewelry created for non-profit organizations or fundraisers with the name or logo of the group. The rectangular tag works well for your phone number or a website url. Please read the instructions below and email our engraving department with any questions before ordering.

Our engraving machine is diamond tipped and very precise, so the number of letters that fit depend on the size of the tag and the font that you choose. We will let you know if we don't think your choice is readable, but a very small tag means a very small font. Our prices are inclusive of all engraving on one side of the tags. If you would like engraving on both sides (a name and a logo, for example), then this can be done for an additional $0.30 per tag.

During Checkout, there is a Special Instructions box (underneath shipping method selection) in which you should specify your engraving instructions, font choice and whether you could like ALL CAPS, all lower case, or Proper Case.

Note: Specifically on the Copper Black Oxide tags, we recommend a thick font like Microgramma, since it will remove more of the black to show copper. (The other tags do not have this issue.)


LOGOS and IMAGES:
Email any logos, your signature or other images, and we will match your email up with your order. A vector based file created in Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or Corel Draw 9, or a pdf, is ideal. Raster/bitmap file types like tif, jpg, gif or psd are also acceptable. When you send image files, you may use any font or design.

We will let you know if your image is too complex for such a small space or if it requires adjustment. Only the outline of your logo will be engraved on the tags. Please keep images under 300k. Large email attachments will not be accepted by our email system.

In the Special Instructions box available during checkout, or by emailing our engraving department, be sure to specify the details for your order.

Generally engraving orders take two to five business days to process, and a digital proof is not provided.
Engraving orders are not refundable or exchangeable.

Note: To make the engraving more prominent, some people use black jewelry paint on their tags when they receive them. One such product is called Black Antique Background (which may be purchased from a jewelry supply company like Thunderbird Jewelry Supply).
